Navigate to Accounting → Configuration → Payment Providers. You will find the newly installed PayU Global provider. From here, you can toggle its status between Test Mode or Enabled and publish it to the website.

Configure connection details inside the Credentials tab. Enter your App ID, Public Key, and Private Key from the PaymentsOS (PayU) Dashboard. Include the Webhook Secret Key to enable secure backend transaction status synchronization.

Customers can complete their purchase using the native inline card input widget. Card details are tokenized securely directly from the client browser via PayU's API, keeping Odoo completely PCI-compliant. Card token saving is fully supported.

Upon successful payment validation, the customer is routed back to the native Odoo checkout thank you page. The payment status changes automatically, updating the sales quotation to a confirmed sales order.

Registered customers can view quotations or unpaid invoices in their personal customer portal. When clicking "Pay Now", a secure Pay Order modal pops up dynamically, offering the PayU Global payment method with credit card fields directly in front of the user.

After portal card verification is complete, Odoo reconciles the invoice/order state immediately, showing a bright green "Thank you! Your payment has been processed" confirmation message directly on the customer's portal view.

Navigate to the paid Odoo customer invoice. To reverse the transaction, click the Credit Note action button to open the reversal wizard, where you can select the reason and date.

Review the details of your Credit Note. Clicking Confirm posts it inside Odoo Accounting, moving the state from Draft to Posted and activating the payment registration button.

Click the Register Payment button on the posted Credit Note. In the pop-up window, select PayU Global as the Payment Method. This triggers an automated backend API request to PaymentsOS to refund the amount.

Upon verification of the refund success response, the customer Credit Note status changes to PAID, automatically completing the accounting entries and closing the transaction loop.
